Why do the big wigs in the entertainment world create programs, toys, advertisements that frighten children or the elderly???  Is it an indication of our society’s “shock” mentality?  I’d like to go back to the days of Andy Griffith, Happy Days, etc.  Those really were “the good old days”!!

“Give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play”!!  And, that’s what we’ve got.  We can’t see all of the animals from our living room windows, but we don’t have far to go.

It is the first day of Fall but doesn’t look too much like this.  We took this photo about 2 years ago in Yellowstone in October.  This year the meteorologists are predicting a warmer and drier October and November followed by a normal December.  So, we’re thinking it will be fall until Christmas!!
