It was three years ago, Happy Halloween, that we moved into our little home on the prairie.  It is by far the best move we’ve ever made.  Beautiful views, wonderful neighbors, fantastic neighborhood, and BEST of al only 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park.

What a beautiful day it was in the Park yesterday.  I’ve never seen the Park when there were so few people.  Saw lots of elk around Mammoth Hot Springs and lots and lots of buffalo back toward Slough Creek campground.  Even with all the bear activity we’ve had this fall, there was still one camper tent camping and they were the only ones in the entire campground.  I sure hope to never have a close encounter with either a grizzly or a black bear.
