We are still amazed that we get to live in such a beautiful, wondrous spot.  Every time we go down to the Park, we give thanks and count our lucky stars that we are where we love to be.

When we were at Dan and Cindy’s on Monday and out on the deck, we saw the first mountain goat of the year way up high in the mountains across from Dan and Cindy’s cabin.  Then as we saw a moose right down across the road in front of their house in the willows.  As we were leaving Silver Gate, we saw another moose just a very, very short distance west of Silver Gate.  I hope you can see in the picture that we interrupted her lunch as some “salad” is hanging out of her mouth.  And, she looks like she might be going to have a calf soon.  She must have heard something down along the creek because that is the way she is looking.  Hopefully, we’ll get to see the baby on one of our trips up to visit.

We truly do have a wonderful life in an amazing place!!
