I had a wonderful birthday yesterday with cards and calls and a party with pizza and cake with our friends in Silver Gate.  And, the biggest surprise was the gift from Dora.  This beautiful, once in a lifetime, photo that Dan and Cindy Hartman took of a grizzly right across the road from their home.  Fortunately, Dan was in his car and while Dan thought the griz was looking so intently at him, the griz actually had his eyes, and taste buds, set on a moose that was just slightly up the hill behind Dan.  This is a picture of Dan’s picture which is now hanging on the wall in our loving room.  It will always be one of my favorite possessions because we love and respect Dan and Cindy so much and because we know the story behind the photo.
