It’s warming up this weekend.  High temps predicted to be in the lower 90′s and that’s really hot for us.  We’ll keep cool with our “swamp cooler” and beat the heat.

The stagecoach rides out of Roosevelt Lodge in Yellowstone always look like so much fun and we plan to do it one nice spring or fall day.  The only problem is the Lodge is the last facility in the Park to open and the first to close – usually first weekend in June through first weekend in September.  They are higher in elevation that we are so the temperatures are somewhat lower but with the increased elevation you have stronger ultraviolet.  So if you plan to do one of these fun activities while you visit, please make sure you have plenty of sunscreen.  And, from the dust spewing up around the stagecoach I think we know why cowboys wore bandanas – can you imagine breathing in all that dust.  So, have a bandana and hat handy and use them – you’ll look like a real dude!
