Lightning sparked a wildfire 6 miles northeast of us last night. By morning the fire had grown to over 2,000 acres, but fire fighters are projecting it to be 90% contained. The weather forecast calls for more dry thunderstorms throughout the week so we will continue to be on the look out. The prevailing winds are in our favor.
