Yesterday we had a fun drive to Virginia City and Nevada City by way of Ennis.  We had forgotten what a charming town Ennis is and were so happy to see that Virginia City seems even more authentic and alive than it did 21  years ago (yes, that’s right it has been that long) when we last were there.  We had lunch at the Ennis Cafe and Grandma Dora says the “Mountain Momma” cheeseburger she had is the best burger she’s ever tasted.

And, we got one of their giant cinnamon rolls (it’s on a 9 inch plate in this picture) to go.  We’ll be eating cinnamon roll for days!

Beautiful day to get out and about a see more of Montana’s wide open spaces.
