Come see Yellowstone this year if you can.  Last year’s heavy snow and rain are still paying dividends this year and the Park is bursting forth with both flora and fauna.

What a wonderful spring we have had.  The grass is green. The plum trees are blooming and look at the bumble bee – I’ve never seen one with these colors.  The crab apples are loaded with blossoms.  And the rhubarb is spectacular – it seems to grow about 6 inches a day!!  

Sacajawea Park in downtown Livingston, MT along the Yellowstone River is a beauty.  We go down often to see the ducks, geese, and trumpeter swans.  Because we are so close to the mountains, it is possible to encounter any of the animals in the Yellowstone ecosystem – like the other day when we came across [...]
